Drosera linearis x spatulata Fraser Island — Sundew

Drosera · Sundews

Drosera linearis x spatulata Fraser Island

Sundew

The only linearis hybrid I've yet succeeded with, this cross reaches an average of around 2-2.5 inches in diameter, with flat, slightly raised rosettes of very slender strap-shaped leaves that resemble the pollen parent...if it had been stretched like taffy and given a notably longer petiole. They tend to stay green with red tentacles but can flush darker in very strong light. Tall slender stalks bear tiny sterile white blooms, and plants will occasionally divide to form clumping colonies over time. Does not appear to have a dormancy requirement.Available plants are semi-mature at 1.5-2" in diameter.
