Pinguicula · Mexican butterworts
Pinguicula sp. Tonala "ANPA A" x moranensis' Huahuapan', HC A
Butterwort
One of the few surviving clones of this cross I produced, plants are broad succulent rosettes of crimped oval leaves that sometimes blush pale pink with strong light (though usually remain green) and average 2.5-3 inches across but can sometimes reach almost 5. Flowers are elegant with oval upper petals and flared teardrop shaped lowers, shaded in electric violet with extreme dark purple spots near the white corolla center.Extremely limited, available plants are currently approx. 1.5" in diameter.
